Montreal

The Basilica Notre-DameWalked from hotel to old Montreal. This section of town is filled with old architecture, cobble stone streets, and eating terraces overlooking the river.

The Basilica Notre-Dame was gorgeous with the blue backdrop. All the parks had flowers and benches to sit on and enjoy the scenery. More old Montreal and dowtown Montreal pics.

Montreal Botanical Gardens

Jardin BotaniqueWe drove up to Montreal to visit a friend and see the town for the first time. Took the subway to Olympic Park to see the Botanical Gardens (Jardin Botanique).

The place was so enormous that we didn't even see the arboretum and insectarium. View the garden shots and greenhouses.

San Diego

San Diego from Coronado IslandDecided Coronado Island was best to see at sunset as you can view the San Diego Skyline from there. Also took a drive through Balboa Park. Neat architecture on the buildings and of course, gardens are fabulous.

More Skyline shots and Balboa Park are here.

San Diego SeaWorld and the Zoo

SeaWorld Killer WhaleWe spent a few days down in San Diego. This gave us a chance to visit SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, La Jolla Beach and Coronado Island. The park, animals and shows were spectacular! We couldn't sit near the pool areas with our cameras, although it was fun to see the crowd get soaked effortlessly by the orcas and dolphins. View the SeaWorld shots, the Zoo and Animal Park.
