Smooches and his blue blanketThe sunlight was coming into the window perfect to get a couple photos of Smooches. He is good at moving as soon as he hears the camera turn on. Lucky Will and his camera were fast! Smooches is now 5 years old and is thoroughly enjoying life staying home.

Xcaret

Macaws at XcaretWe decided to head over to Xcaret Park just south of Playa del Carmen. The eco-park has tropical birds, wildlife, an aquarium, and a beach for snorkeling. The underground river sends you down the river through caves.

The night show has a theatre performance and traditional dancing with lavish costumes. Click here for more shots of the Xcaret Park and the night show.

Made it to Cancun

Cancun sunsetOh great, a blizzard for the Northeast started the day before our trip to Mexico. Our flight was cancelled twice but we made it to see the beautiful aqua beaches and white sand. The best part was meeting up ith all the family! Here's a shot from hotel room in Cancun and the pool in Merida.

Thanksgiving day parade in NYC

big fishyGot up early to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Very busy as expected. People start arriving 3-4 hours before start time so we were a block away for pictures.

The weather held out and ended up being 65 degrees. I got to finally see the gigantic balloons and Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. Click here for more shots of the parade.

Fall in New England

Fall in New EnglandIt's that time of year when the weather gets cooler and the tree leaves start to put on a magnificant display. We drove up to Vermont and down through the top part of Massachusetts to view this phenomena. The hilltops really did look like they were on fire with the red, orange, and yellow leaves.
