The Grasshopper through the macro lens

Grasshopper in Wagner ParkWill playing with his new macro lens again. Really getting the detail of flowers and bugs close up. Now you can see grasshoppers and flies close-up without a microscope.

Visiting Victoria

The EmpressThe big trip back to my hometown Victoria, B.C. The inner harbour was full of colour with all the hanging baskets and flowers. A big change from the East Coast. The first few days were sunny so I took advantage of the photo opportunity while going out to lunch with friends. Click here for more shots at the of Victoria.

The new macro lens

Fly through the macroWhile New York was in a flurry from the Republican Convention, Will decided to rush out and get a new macro lens. We decided to walk down the block in Battery Park City to a place with a beautiful flower garden. As you can see, he managed to capture many fantastic shots even getting the flies close up.

The Bronx Zoo

Tiger in Tiger MountainA cool day in NYC so went to see the wonderful animals at the Bronx Zoo. We didn't arrive until noon so most of the animal were having an afternoon siesta. The active grizzly bears really decided to put on a show play fighting and wading in their pool.
